All,
This is probably not the correct place to post this question, but I
cannot find any information on this anywhere on the web. I am trying to
configure mwCVS. I finally got all of the files in the correct location and
I get messages back from the server when I try to do things. However, I
cannot figure out how to configure the CVSROOT setting in VCS settings.
Here is my exact setting for CVSROOT:
pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/cvs
This is the exact string that I use with WinCVS (minus the "pserver:").
WinCVS is working fine on my system.
I get this error message back from the server when I try to use the login
command from the CodeWarrior VCS menu:
cvs login
cvs.exe login: can only use pserver method with 'login' command
cvs.exe [login aborted]: CVSROOT: pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/cvs
Any suggestions as to what the problem is or, better yet, where I can find
some documentation on this?
