Has anybody experienced this type of problem? If I try to set a label
control's text to a string who's first character is the degree symbol
(extended-shift / clockwise circle in graffiti), my application crashes
("bus error" in POSE). If the first character is something else, like a
letter or a space, then it works fine (even if another character is the
degree symbol). I am getting the control's text buffer by calling
CtlGetLabel, then modifying the string and putting it back with CtlSetLabel.
Again, this works fine as long as the first character isn't an
extended-stroke character, like the copyright symbol, or the degree symbol.
