Hi Ben: ############################################################################# I would expect the locked code resource to be much faster, since the notification doesn't have to go through the standard application startup code... SysAppStartup and SysAppExit, even for a non-global launch, aren't the fastest routines, so directly jumping to code would be preferred. #############################################################################
I would expect that too BUT I wonder if anyone actually measured it. Theory and practice are not the same, especially when it comes to the Palm OS. If no one measured it, I will have to do it myself.
