Hi. When I set the ExtSocketType.localMode = 1, then the POSE "beams" back to itself.
But when I try to "loop-back" a beam on a Palm using the following: open the note-pad or find-file, enter "shortcut" (like a lower-case script L), followed by ".", followed by "t", run my program to beam or select beam from the system pull-down menu, the beaming doesn't loop back on the Palm. I also tried to debug beaming by following the instruction found at: http://tangentsoft.net/palmfaq/advanced.html#beam-debug turn off HotSync Manager keep the real Palm in the cradle select serial on POSE do shortcut-.-s on POSE and the real Palm run programs on POSE and the real Palm no beaming from the real Palm to the POSE perhaps because shortcut-.-s doesn't seem to cause the Palm and the POSE to use serial port instead of beaming. Anyone know how I can really accomplish debug beaming on a single POSE and/or debugging using a POSE and a real Palm device?
