This is a really odd error, as the 68K Compiler for Palm OS should never generate a CHK instruction, since these were typically only done for Pascal code with array cheching turned on.Hallo. I would be very pleasured if anyone can help me with following problem aboat upgraiding project to new CodeWarrior. I created my project in CW Lite version a now i would like to convert it into CW Enterprise edition 8.0. I've read a lot of documentation a did not find any right solution. When i translate project into .prc and run it on emulator a "PocketNem just executed a CHK machine language instruction that failed. Invouking this instruction is not supported in Palm OS applications." error message appears.
How did you translate your project into V8 Enterprise? It would generally be a lot better to create a new project and then add your old source files rather than directly migrate projects into the V8 Enterprise environment, as that would avoid problems with including the wrong libraries, and possibly including code build with the limited V6 Lite tools.
