If you have a super-optimised technique that Gremlins and/or the Debug ROMs object to, then suppress it when your software is being run with POSE. You run a risk that your code may break on some device other than the one your are testing on, but then you can take a hint from the game developers, and further only activate that technique when running on certain known hardware.
