So how did you calulate your result? cot isn't

1/tan,
as far as I know. cot is the reverse of tan, that's

tan^-1 on calculators.

Methinks you have cot confused with arctan. arctan is
the inverse of tan and is denoted as tan^-1.

cot(x) is defined to be 1/tan(x) or as tan(90-x) (in degrees).
