CW 9 isn't obligatory. > Mark, not all of us can have $95/hr jobs like you. But just because we > don't, doesn't mean we aren't worthy of being in the business. First, I don't have a $95/hr job. That's the rate I charge as a consultant. And it's at the low end, from what I understand. CW is one tool I use to earn that hourly rate. If I were making minimum wage, then CW would be a very expensive tool! I think what folks should do is ask themselves: How much more money (or fun, or whatever) can I make from CW 9? Is it worth $200? If not, then they shouldn't buy it. > It's a matter of principal (for me at least) as far as CW goes. I don't believe in "principals" that don't make me happier or richer. :) > I don't like spending > money on things that don't seem worth it but are forced into. You're not forced into anything. > But as you > stated, at $95/hr you can afford to spend frivolously. Maybe one reason I can charge such outrageous fees is because both me and my customers understand ROI. -- For information on using the Palm Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/support/forums/
