well, windows users are a different breed of people - but, that doesn't
make one set of tools inferior to the other. i personally do NOT use
linux for a development environment - i prefer win2k with cygwin. why?
most of my tools are win2k based (POSE, palmsim et al) and, cygwin gives
me all the unix/linux i need. i *used* to use linux, and, i found a suitable
replacement to suit my needs. (well, i still use linux for server) :P

so, saying i am stupid using windows?

i think it is a matter of choice, and, in general, the linux community
are more smarter (ie: know how to install a .rpm)... but come on.. lets
go back to the good old days where it was:

cd /
gzip -d program.tar.gz
tar xvf program.tar

thats true linux :) and, forget redhat/debian.. go slackware! this isn't
a place for os flame war's tho John, or, flame wars of any type - as you
constantly point out on this forum and others.
