In a nutshell, you need to send a message to the Palm news server at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] with a message body containing:
subscribe symbol-forum <youremail>
And one setting your password:
set symbol-forum pwd=<somepassword>
I presume you can combine these into a single message, but just to make
sure you might try sending two messages. You should get an
confirmation/ACK message with an ID after the first one. You need to
respond to this before you login will become effective. The ACK message
should come pretty fast (it did when I signed up for one the other day).
Once you've signed up and ACKed, your newsreader should prompt you for a
name and password when you try to get messages.
