I explained the purpose of my software and provided links to discussions about HackMe when I signed up for the sf account. They are fully aware of the purpose and capabilities (which are not necessarily the same thing) of my software. And sf.net hosts dissassemblers (oh no!). Aren't they illegeal now, at least in the US? :) > 2001-07-??: > Discovered HackMe. > hey :) *w00t* :) i have a version working > for OS5 *g* - but, as you all know thats for > personal use only. i guess, someone had to > copy the concept; being open source they > are probably thinking its legit to do > it too. its 100% legit, but, > i believe the problem here is the > fact that other developers will be > busting his chops over it. Sorry, Aaron. I give the credit to ChangeName for the original idea, :) and me for thinking of automating it. You did it first, I agree, but I didn't see your software until I had the idea and searched to see if it had been done. Anyway, its hardly usable right now, and I am requesting developer feedback in multiple places on my website and also here (please give feedback). So far, the only "chop busting" has been a single "Grrrr..." from Florent. Thats not much. I have also only had about 3 users give me feedback (all positive), but thats not much considering the number of people that have been to the site and downloaded the software.
