After writing many applications that had many a crufty and broken line of code, I have discovered a rather large method how. Run an old copy of VFSBrowser (old skool, baby!) and switch back and forth between internal memory and the expantion card ~7 times. *poof* Dissassemblage might help...

Everyone who has written a not-so-well-written Palm app has probably done more than just a soft reset. I've gone through about four writing my backup program. It's ironic, but still makes me cry. > I honestly hadn't thought of the idea of this being used by virus writers. > I had a completely different idea that used it, but I can see now that if a > programmatic hard reset was possible then it could cause all manner of > problems if used maliciously. A poorly written flash application (the ones that write to internal memory... you know what I'm talking about ;) could be used maliciously. My -Clock!- could be used maliciousally. Anything you install onto your computer, every disk you insert, and every time you connect to the internet could have a negative impact. You just never know ;P My favorite application has to be the one that deletes itself after displaying "Farewell creul world!" on the screen ;) -- Matthew (Darkstorm) Bevan [EMAIL PROTECTED] Margin Software, NECTI. http://www.marginsoftware.com Re-inventing the wheel, every time. - "For an adequate time call 898-8781" -- For information on using the Palm Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/support/forums/
