I am also a J2ME developer.
I also think that J2ME has a very good future. Because of its simplicity in
specifically Network/Internet programming. It is so easy to delvelop a
internet app or port existing web based applications to wireless mobile /
PDA apps.

It is also supporting multiple devices like various mobiles / Palm and other
PDAs.

J2ME will become an option with the ARM processors.

i, also a Java lover :) experimented with the KVM a long time back,
but, found it was obvious that C/asm was the only way to do anything
real on PDA's *g*
