It does seem fairly silly, doesn't it? 1) Provide the machine with lots of power. 2) Provide software with that machine that exploits that power, encouraging users to tickle the bug. 3) The bug breaks the central piece of software on the machine, which will make the device unusable for some fraction of the community (my wife would *never* have tried using launcherX to get around this. She wants a Palm that "just works"). I can confirm that I'm being bit by the 345 database limitation. Took it under 345, and everything's peachy.
