You don't need a serial cable. USB transfer is supported in Emulator 3.5. Download it from:
http://www.palmos.com/dev/tools/emulator/#download

Run ROMTransfer.prc and hit 'Begin Transfer", then go to the ROM Transfer screen on your desktop. USB shows up at the bottom of the list. Note that USB transfer doesn't show up as an option unless you've already hit 'Begin Transfer'.

It works great (Thanks Keith!) - I just used it this morning.

Is this such a silly question that it bears no response, or is this the
wrong place to ask? Either way, I'd be pleased to receive the feedback.
Bob.
Hi folks,

I used to have a PalmV, and I was able to download it's ROM image to use
within POSE. Recently I moved to an M500, and I have been unable to
download the image. One thing I noticed is that POSE only seems set offer
serial ports in its configuration, while my new synch cable is USB.

This seems like a stupid problem, but I haven't been able to figure it out.
I've tried looking through the Palm site docs, but still no luck.

Thanks in advance.

Bob.
