The cradle will still charge your Palm even if the PC is off. (It has a seperate power supply, and doesn't draw power from the USB port) One big (for me, anyway) issue with the M130 is that it does not support network hotsync. This feature seems to have been deliberately taken out, I preusme because the M130 is targetted at home users.
