Hi, I would like to start an app (in OS 5) but retaining the previous screen. My app needs to show a small bitmap (40x40) on top of whatever is on screen at that moment (it will be started by pressing a hardware button, and it will stop automatically after a short while).
The problem is that -from reading "StartupCode.c" in CodeWarrior 9- the call to Palm's SysAppStartup() clears the screen itself, and from previous messages in the forum there is no easy way to avoid calling this function. Is there any way to start an application without cleaning the screen first?
