I'd have to agree that I'm not impressed with the quality
control or support for this product from Falch.net (the
developer). We purchased it to convert a number of
resource files from Constructor to RCP format and, while
the product did the bulk of the job, we found corrupted
bitmaps and had a number of problems with crashes, strange
cursor behaviour and interface clumsiness.

What annoyed me most was that the bug reporting page for
Falch.net was built for their main product only. I guess they
view Pilrc designer as a module of their IDE but it's doesn't
do much for your confidence when simple actions cause a
product to crash and the developer's site only mentions patches
for the main product, not the product you've purchased.

I tend to report bugs but when I realised that the support and
maintenance procedures completely ignored the product I'd
purchased I lost interest. I'm hoping that the investment by
Metrowerks improves the situation.
