Now that Graffiti 2 will be in all future OS versions, I have a couple of
questions:

1) Is there a way to detect that Graffiti 2 is available or do I just check the
OS version?
I don't know. I would hope there would be a SDK update soon that would address this.

2) What is the best way to change the "Graffiti Help" menu item to "Graffiti 2
Help"?
If you have a form that only has an Edit menu with the standard items, you can specify a menu ID of "10000", and use the system's built-in edit menu.

I'm surprised that the OS isn't automatically changing that text. Japaneses versions of the OS will automatically append the dictionary and lookup items to a standard edit menu (one that follows the template of using menu IDs 10000-10007), but all the "Graffiti 2" refs in the 5.2 simulator look to be hardcoded.

I noticed also that PalmSource hasn't updated their core apps for all of the gotchas in Graffiti 2. For example, in the MemoPad app in 5.2, they use /L for phone lookup, which obscures access to the /K keyboard shortcut.
