If the device has a flash rom, then you can probably upgrade it to 4.1.2, but the versions in the seeding area are "full" roms, which are bigger than 2 megs, and therefore won't fit onto most devices. IMHO, I'd stick with 4.1, because I have using Jot for grafitti input.
