Try some psychology on your users.... if they have a reasonably
predictable schedule i.e. into bed by a certain time, add a feature to
your software to detect if it is in the cradle, call it m500-bed-time.
If the unit detects that it's past it's bed-time and it is not in the
cradle, then some avsersion therapy with constant beeping noises and
alert messages ought to get the user to put the thing to bed, if only to
shut it up!
