No, you cannot force the device to always be in debug mode, but you can make it work easier by downloading the DotDotTwo program that is included as one of the Palm OS SDK examples. Then, you can assign DotDotTwo to the calculator button and use that to quickly enter debug mode.Hello, I use CW to make mya pplication, but I find that it is a little boring to use it..I explain: In debug mode with my Plam, I must make the Shortcut..2 each time I want to debug on the target ? is it possible to force this mode at the first time... and only one time?
Also, debugging to the emulator doesn't require entering any characters.
This process is smoothed out a lot in the CodeWarrior for Palm OS V9 tools which started to ship in December.
This is a bug with the 4.2.5 IDE. If you open the help files separately from an Explorer window or from the "Online Manuals" command in the IDE, you won't have the "lose your cursor" problem. When I call the Help with F1 key, I arrive on the right section, but I can't go back to my program by ALT-TAB because the Helpw windows is always on the front!! I must reduce it to see CW in the background and then use it. Why can't I have the editor CW windows and the HELP window simultaneounsly...
