Has anyone had any experience using a Smartpad2 tablet with a Treo 270?

I am interested in using the Smartpad as a general input device, and also
want to take the concept of Seiko's InkNote Manager software a step
further - to send captured graphics directly to a predetermined email
address from the handset, rather than popping up an email user interface.

Preferring to use existing apps and knowledge, rather than reinventing the
wheel and programming from scratch (which my client can't afford), my
questions are:

1. Does anyone know of third party software for use with the Smartpad?

2. An SDK for the Smartpad and its associated InkNote Manager software has
been in the pipeline for the past year. Seiko says: "We hope to see the SDK
released within the next two months." In the meantime, does anyone know how
the Smartpad uses the IR port?

3. Does anyone know of an email app which can be launched with command
parameters that (a) can accept graphic attachments and (b) can send an email
without a user interface popup? According to the makers of the Treo's
current email software, "One-Touch Mail v 2.3 only supports 4 native
attachments vcal,vcard,txt and todo".

4. I am having trouble getting the email with InkNote attachment to send
from the handset with the current email-InkNote software combination. (It
sends from the desktop after a HotSync.) Seiko recommends the use of
Multimail Pro email software with its InkNote Manager software. A quick
internet search has not revealed where this might be sourced separately from
a Palm organiser. Is it available separately?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
