no library functions like this exist in the SDK. you need to write all
this stuff yourself; go find a course on elementary computer graphics
and optimization :)
i taught a course called 'computational geometry' which covered exactly
these types of problems. there are quite a few text books on the topic.
you need to get your fingers dirty :)
PS: dont write 'please help quick' - you should plan your project :)
the speed of you getting your solution is not our problem.
