Database Question!

G'day All,

I am designing a database for a datalogger application, I am wondering
what is the reason to go with a file system instead of a data input recovery.

I am trying to understand the differences in memory overhead that would be created if i use a file system or a database system..anyone has any helps how to calculate such thing,,I am planning in having over 1MB of data to be transmitted. does anyone have any hints??
