Just received this from MW Ron at Metrowerks, so I guess it's "official".

I wanted to let you know that a decision was made last week that we will not
release a new version of CodeWarrior for the Palm OS platform being hosted
on the Macintosh operating systems. This was a hard choice for us to make as
Metrowerks is very committed and supportive of Macintosh as a development
platform.

Please be assured that we are going to continue the support for CodeWarrior
for Palm 8 on Macintosh through the normal technical support channels over
the next year.

We have expectations that CodeWarrior for Palm on Windows will run on
Virtual PC but this has not be fully validated yet, perhaps this is
something you would consider an acceptable option

want to thank you for your commitment and passion towards Metrowerks and the
CodeWarrior for the Palm OS and your understanding of our decision
