I don't think there is an easy way to do this, short of writing your own popup list rendering/ handling code. I also question whether it's really desirable to create your own UI that deviates from the established standard. Imagine every developer came with their own little variation of how to scroll lists and tables. Users would have a harder time using the various applications.
