Note that "sampled sound" means many things. On the Sony NX series, the sound feature is there, but that doesn't mean it will play the same sampled sounds (raw format) as on the TT. AFAIK, you need ADPCM (Yamaha) encoded sound for the Sony devices, but I never actually got it to work on the NX70.
