1) Add a "register me" resource to your app.Hi,I have the opportunity to create a site license version of one of my programs that requires individual registration keys. Well, this is not the best method for this. Do any of you have suggestions on how to do this? What I want to do is have my program be installed via HotSync on each of the devices. If the program is beamed, then the unregistered version is sent. I'm pretty sure that I can install two files, one bing the shareware version and the second being a "copy protected" file that if it exists will unlock the program. Any other suggestions out there?
2) Make your app copy-protected.
3) On sync notify, check for this resource. If its there, register the app, remove the resource, and then clear the copy-protection bit.
This will mean there's only one file to hotsync, and it will turn into something that's unregistered on beaming.
