VFSVolumeFormat: How to suppress that warning dialog?

A call to VFSVolumeFormat(...) results in the system putting up a 
confirmation dialog.  I do not want any user interaction (automated test 
suite), and I cannot see from the API how to supress this dialog.  Any 
ideas?
