Hello, I have problem with dynamically created numeric field using PALMOS API. (FldNewField). The field is working properly while you are using the treo keyboard to put characters into field. But when i created field dynamically and used FldSetTextPtr to put the text into field then i found following error: When you delete all the text from field using keyboard ( "backspace key"..) and you try to put there number(pressing numbers on keyboard) device beeps. You have to use blue "shift" key to put numbers there. It looks like that the keyboard is switching itself from numeric mode into text mode. I was searching for some API function which alow to switch the keyboard mode but without success.
