It is interesting to read the actual newsletter...

I have HTML turned off in my e-mail, so e-mails solely in HTML format
are virtually unreadable.  This is usually an advantage as 97% - 99% 
of e-mails solely in HTML format are SPAM, and this way I can view 
(and then delete) probable SPAM without actually having to read it!

However  both the PalmGear and PalmSource e-mails are solely in
HTML format, and I usually just scan them as text.  But that makes it 
easy to miss important information!

Is there any reason why the PalmSource newsletter has to be in solely
HTML format instead of the mixed text and HTML which is common 
to almost all regular e-mails?
