Hi, Forgive me for posting a message which does not concern palm development. But I thought with so many C gurus around, I'd get some help.
We have to port a library which is written in 16 bit C to 32 bit NT environment. The library is an amazingly HYPER OPTIMISED piece of code (the client has been using it since 1980) which contains a lot of ifdef's to support compilation on 16bit DOS, Unix and OS/2 platforms. We have to port it to native Win32 so that it can run on native Windows NT in console mode ( i.e without invoking the ntvdm) and also take care that it can compile on the other platforms (using the ifdef's). The library is built using Watcom C 11.0 Is anybody aware of a good mailing list for Watcom C. (I didnot get anything worthwhile on Open Watcom), Newgroups are blocked in our company :( Is there any C mailing list which may be specific to the topic of my interest? I would really appreciate if someone can point me to the right direction. If anybody has worked on something similar, I would like to correspond with you. You may mail me privately cause it may not be of general interest to the group. Sorry again.
