I'm having trouble getting USB debugging working with a Tungsten device and Codewarrior 8. I've set things up in IDE Preferences:PalmDebugger Settings--
Target: Palm OS Device Connection: USB
and closed the HotSync Manager so that the USB port should be free. I put the device in console mode with <special char> .. 2.
You have to have CodeWarrior for Palm OS V9 to do debugging to a Tungsten T device or any other ARM-based device. There's a bug in PACE that prevents reliable stepping through source code with older versions of the CW debugger, and V9 also fixes some connection problems that prevented getting a good USB connection to the T|T.
