There's pre-build binaries for Linux at http://sourceforge.net/projects/pose/
You can also build POSE from source if needed. If you're using RedHat Linux like me, download the .rpm file and do a "rpm -ivh pose- 3.5-2.i386.rpm" to install it. Execute "pose" to get it running under X. You'll need a .rom image to use with it which you can get by installing the ROM Transfer.prc utility to your Palm device and transferring the ROM to Unix over the serial connection. Hope this helps.
