Oops... never mind. I'm just being an idiot. I messed up my resource IDs for the menu items, so I was calling MenuHideItem with invalid numbers.
Thanks anyway, Mark Cameron Techneos Systems Inc. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Mark Cameron Sent: Friday, March 28, 2003 12:15 AM To: Palm Developer Forum Subject: MenuHideItem After an excruciating hour+ of searching this list and the knowledge base, I've found a handful of postings that indicate the MenuHideItem function is broken. Can someone please confirm this? I'm testing on Palm OS 4.1, and it simply ignores my calls to MenuHideItem. I've tried getting the return value from MenuHideItem, and it always comes back as 0. I am working on a 13 item list that was created using PilRC Designer. I know there's a work-around (i.e. creating a separate menu resource), but I'm trying to clean up my code and eliminate any unnecessary resources.
