Thanks to everyone that offered help. I found what I needed in PrvDrawControl in Control.c in the OS 4.0 Sources\UI\Src. I just had to substitute some Glue functions for references to internal struct member of the ControlType struct, diddle around with the clipping region, and it all worked.
