hate to say this, but, i also noticed the battery level of the emulator
(dont remember if it was POSE/PalmSim) using the battery level of my 
laptop :)

that would be the best solution - i'd hate to run my laptop down to
5% just to see the warning :) the laptop itself would shutdown :P
