Can you confirm for me that the "Maker" field is 'Palm' (capitalized) and not 'palm'? That's the value for sysFtrNumOEMCompanyID, which is all lowercase until the Palm/Palmsource divorce.
This could be an interesting case. If (as I suspect) the "Maker" field is actually 'palm', then there appears to be no good way to distinguish between an m105 and an m100. Not what the original poster asked, but still interesting.
AFAIK, the m100 and m105 have the same ROM image. The only difference is the RAM size and if the device came with a cable or a cradle and some bonus software.
