I'm using a bunch of BITMAPCOLOR16K resources for an app that's to be used
on 320x320 @ 16-bit displays on either OS/4 (Clie) or OS/5 (Clie, Palm).

However, on OS/5, if I create a BitmapTypeV3 from these, and post them on
the screen, I run into trouble if PilRC has compressed them. If they're
uncompressed, they display just fine. If they're compressed, sometimes they
display fine, other times they display with bizarre artifacts and random
colored lines through them.

I've tried a PilRC v3.0alpha build, but the problem persists. Has anyone
done anything to get around this problem? Sure I can use uncompressed
bitmaps, but at a huge cost in size. So any other nifty workaround would be
appreciated.
