First off, a warning: I'm not a very good programmer yet, just a beginner, so anything i ask that's stupid, just remember that please. i'm currently reading a few books, so i'm trying to find the answers on my own first, but asking here what i haven't found in books or at google.
Ok, here's the problem: I need to get data out of 3 fields, assign them to 3 separate variables, and then pad them to a certain length (i believe 10, but possibly 15) so that i can manipulate them. I really don't care what's used to pad the variables, but would prefer spaces if that's possible.
