Well, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. I may be pretty green on Palm but I'm quite the veteran of PocketPC and Smartphone. Sometimes it fails, sometimes it doesn't. I think its probably related to how many active blocks you've got as opposed to the overall size, though the smartphone fails every time and that is also a CE device.
At the end of the day, its not 100% and thats not good enough for me. As soon as I swapped in my own allocator, all my problems went away.
