Does anyone on this list have a development setup that can rebuild the
prc-tools for the cygwin platform? I'm quite frustrated with the lack of
multi-segment app debugging support in the current release. I've applied
all the latest patches from Ton Overbeek, but I still don't have a clean,
consistently debuggable setup going here. More often than not, the debugger
hangs.

I'd like to switch over to using multilink to see how it behaves, but
because of a bug that existed in the version of gdb that was used for
prc-tools 2.2, multilink'd apps don't debug nicely. I've heard from Chris
Faherty (on this list) that he is able to debug quite nicely with multilink
and the prc-tools with a more recent build of the debugger (the bug was
fixed in March of 2003). But he's on Linux and can't really share his gdb
binary with me.

I'd be thrilled if someone could get a recent version of the gdb source,
apply the prc-tool patches, and create a build of m68k-palmos-gdb that has
the fix that would allow multilink'd apps to be debugged. It would be a big
plus to the Palm development community that is using prc-tools as well.

Or (if they are listening) would the prc-tools folks care to bundle up the
latest stuff and release a 2.3 version?
