Well, I appreciate the effort. I ended up installing a current update of cygwin at the start of my effort. After that, things were pretty smooth overall. I had some work to do in order to get my Palm development environment working again, however. The cygwin update seems to have removed some Palm stuff that I had placed in the cygwin tree (cleaning up what it deemed as unnecessary files, I guess). Also, I had to do a "make install" in order to actually get the executables named correctly with their m68k-palmos- prefixes, so it probably messed things up a bit as well. I had to reinstall multilink and do some other juggling of files. But now I've got m68k- files that I can just overwrite the prc-tools 2.2 stuff with and it seems to be working correctly. Finally! That stupid add-symbol-file bug is out of my hair! Rick Reynolds -- For information on using the Palm Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/support/forums/
