Just my two cents... I got a copy of the PalmOS Programming Bible and I
felt a lot like I'd wasted the money. It was a useful introduction, but
it quickly became frustrating because of a lack of depth in certain areas
and a superabundance of small errors in the text that wasted real time
until I figured out that the book wasn't infallible.

It's just slightly too late for me to come in as a rank newbie from this
angle, but how about saving some money just making use of the lovely work
Palm has done with the Programmer's Companion and API Reference?
