I've added the shift indicator and have the field in focus,
I'm trying to set the field to CAPS on startup.
I'm currently exploring:
GsiSetShiftState(const UInt16 lockFlags, const UInt16 tempShift)
and
GrfSetState(Boolean capsLock, Boolean numLock, Boolean upperShift)
Anything else anyone can suggest I try???
None of the default apps have this option that I can see...

Nole,
You should use FrmSetFocus to set the focus to this field when you
initialize the form. Also, you may need to add a graffiti shift
indicator to the form to get the autoshift to function correctly.

Just read my post... let me try that again..
When the form loads I want the first field to default to
be in focus and also default to upper case.
So when the user is entering text it will start them
out in upper-case, and they'll have set it to lower manually.
Any suggestions ???

For OS 3.xx I'm trying to get the the field that I set the focus on
to also have the GSI set to default typing in CAPS.
FieldPtr = GetObjectPtr(MainProdNoField);
FldGetAttributes(FieldPtr, &attr);
attr.autoShift = true;
FldSetAttributes(FieldPtr, &attr);
I set AutoShift also in PilRC...
Am I going about this correctly, and if so why wouldn't this be
working???
