If you're going to be working in Palm OS from time-to-time and in VS otherwise you might find an advantage in avoiding the confusion of swapping environments, but if you're going to be using the environment full-time to develop a Palm product then the benefits in using an environment custom-connected to the Palm OS SDK, the PalmSource documentation, the compiler, resource editor, resource compiler, etc outway the learning curve in becoming familar with that environment, IMHO. Of course, if you're the trail-blazer type then go for it - I'd be interested in reducing my investment in development IDE's and I suspect that once you got it usable you'd find other developers willing to assist.
