I've not had any response to this so I thought I'd forward it to p-d-f, as I am dead in the water in regards to this issue, and that's not good.

I've searched the emulator-forum, the handspring-forum, and the Simulator documentation for answers, to no avail. It so happens to be Handspring's version of the Simulator (not sure how it's different from Palm's version), and it's pointing to a Handspring Treo 600 ROM file called "Simulator.CrowGsmRelMlML.rom". Note that when I use Palm's version of the Simulator, and a PalmOS 5 ROM file, I have no problems. I get the following error message: "The simulator failed to initialize" / "The C:\...\Simulator.CrowGsmRelMlML.rom ROM file could not be loaded at address 0x60000000, and no suitable ROM relocation file is available. The simulation will now termiante. [OK]" Interestingly, my PalmOS Simulator directory has a ROM relocation file "NTFullDbg_enUS.rom.reloc", but my Handspring Simulator director has no such ROM relocation file corresponding to "Simulator.CrowGsmRelMlML.rom". Handspring Support tells me that the the Treo600 ROM needs considerable more space than the PalmOS 5 ROM, which explains why the PalmOS Simulator/ROM combination works, whereas the Handspring Simulator/ROM combination balks. They suggest I look into the relocation issue, which I am attempting to do here. My machine has tons of RAM on it, so what's the trick? Thanks very much for your help! -Jeff Ishaq -- For information on using the Palm Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/support/forums/ -- For information on using the Palm Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/support/forums/
