In 99.9% of units there is only one RS232 port so you would be safe setting
up your app to work with the cradle/modem port only.  This is how my
hardware 'drivers' have worked since '97.   Should you decide later to work
with say IRDA or Bluetooth, it won't be a big deal to add it.
