And the idiot (which is me) responds to the wrong message.   So I've reposed
my response under the proper subject .

That may have been me.  I thought I had setup a TG-50 to serially debug over
Bluetooth.  It turns out when I was setting the unit into the cradle to
continue charging while using the radio (which I thought was unplugged), the
debugger established a serial debug connection.
